Identity: Sustainable Gotland
Graphic identity and webdesign for the network Hållbara Gotland (Sustainable Gotland)
Using the PANTONE color code for the Baltic Sea, limestone and lavender, the colors are dual: both sprung from Gotland (an island in the Baltic with a high amount of limestone) and representing sustainability in two different aspects: social (purple) and environmental (blue). The Baltic sea is at the moment in danger of being acidified and several fish species are endangered.
Abstract illustrations are entertaining the idea of sustainability work as a collaboration between partners. The net is the network, and is interactive on the website. It is in two perspectives: macro and micro, as the member in the network can both participate in a small-scale level, or a large-scale. But also because sustainability is
both small-scale and larger, and it is when both scales are activated
when change can be done.
The font used is Verdana, as it can be both written and digital, and Lato on the website.
