The fear of living as a failure is strong within me, born in the late 80's. Everywhere around me people seem to struggle with the same fear. Fear of falling behind, of not succeeding, of being unemployed, of being shunned. Yet, this fear is not being adressed, or challenged. We struggle with the idea of what we 'should' do and what we 'want' to do. What is even a successful future? What are we aspiring to? How are we supposed to be planning for it? And why do we worry so much about something largely out of our hands?
This is a part of a longer ongoing project about fears.
